Building Stronger Ties of Trust with the Local Community

Management Philosophy

The Bank has long followed the management philosophy of gworking to build ties of trust with the local community so as to contribute to the development of regional society.h To continue putting this philosophy into practice in the future, too, the Bank of the Ryukyus and its group will exert their full efforts to enhance the range and quality of services offered, and at the same time to establish sound management practices that will make us capable of coping with any change in the business environment. By so doing, we aim to meet the needs of the local community.

Corporate Culture

The Bank has drawn up Rules of Behavior for its staff based on the Bankfs Code of Ethics. This code stresses the importance of: a customer-focused approach to the banking business; linking compensation with performance; and a corporate culture that encourages the free expression of opinions. The code aims to establish a new set of common values for the Bank and its staff.

Under the banner of these common values, the Bank of the Ryukyus is marching confidently into the future, in which we are sure that the full potential of all our staff will be realized.
